Burial at Sea

When they tow my bloated dead dick out to sea there will be a whole ecosystem of scavengers and para-scavengers that will form around that rotting mass.  

Seabirds will lay eggs in the hollows formed where nodular cysts fill with gas and burst through the leathery surface of the skin.

Crabs and fish will make a shaggy ruin of the underside, attracting increasingly large tiers of secondary predators.  

The nuts will slough off entirely, dropping to seed a new ecosystem in the dark below.  

Insects will be legion.  Tugboat rats will walk the tow-ropes to colonize the ever-ripening isle.  The monkeys' origin will remain unknown, as will the burrowing landworms'.
